Boko Haram Leader Nabbed While Withdrawing Money
The police in Adamawa state said it arrested a suspected member of the Boko Haram sect. PRO of the state's comman, Othman Mohammed, said the suspect was arrested in Gombi area of the state.
Speaking on the development, Mohammed who is a DSP said, “He is now being investigated; his name or whether he is on the wanted list will be revealed after the investigation.”
Meanwhile, an eyewitness in Gombi has revealed that said the terrorist leader was arrested while trying to make some withdrawal at an ATM cash point in the town.
“He was arrested by a policeman who challenged him while he was trying to make withdrawal at the First bank,” the witness who identified himself as Buba said.
Once his true identity and position on Boko Haram list is confirmed, he would be handed over to military.
