IBINABO speaks on her new appointment

The newly appointed member of the board of National Council for Arts and Culture,NCAC, and  incumbent President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria,AGN, Ibinabo Fiberesima has expressed her desire to use her new position to effect positive change in the industry.Ibinabo Fiberesima



In a chat with HVP, shortly after the inauguration of the new board members on Wednesday evening,  in Abuja,  Ibinabo said, “ I’m overwhelmed. I will use my new appointment to effect a positive change in the industry.”

Her appointment came few days after she led members of her guild to Abuja where they installed President Goodluck Jonathan as its Grand Patron.

“It is a good thing for the movie industry, at least we have a voice inside the board now and we can cry from the inside and get the desired changes and results that we seek.

]Now the movie industry can be directly involved with what concerns it,”Ibinabo said.
Speaking further, she revealed that she would be shuttling between Lagos and Abuja and would combine her job as the guild president with her new portfolio.
